After a successful first TV series, following the Pizza Boys on their adventure to the World Pizza Championships in Italy, they returned in 2023 with two brand new series on S4C and BBC Cymru Wales respectively.
Bois y Pizza Chwe Gwlad saw Jez and Ieuan, and their trusty little pizza van Smokey Pete, make their way around the nations of rugby’s greatest competition. Pizza Boys: World Cup Adventure was an opportunity for the three amigos to hit the road to experience France’s tastiest dishes.
I worked with the Pizza Boys on a social media strategy for both 2023 series, creating engaging bilingual content, to coincide with the broadcast runs.
Tweets during the S4C campaign earned nearly 100k impressions, averaging 1.7k impressions a day. Facebook and Instagram’s page reach was up by 11.4k% and 412.3% respectively.
